First consultation. Analysis and adoption of the best strategy before the hair transplant.
1. The first consultation
Each surgery has to be preceded by a consultation.
During this consultation, the theoretical and technical aspects of a hair transplant are explained and your case is reviewed very carefully.
The density of your donor and recipient areas are measured with the help of a micro camera.
At the end of the consultation, you will receive a complete and detailed hair assessment. The recommended strategy is discussed with the patient and the physician will draw up a preliminary estimate.
On this web site, patients will find a tailor-made recommendation.
This consultation has a specific role: to provide advice to the patient about the different therapeutic possibilities.
However, we feel that a face-to-face consultation is always the preferred option.
2. Discussion about the recommended strategy
A quality hair transplant is largely dependent on the STRATEGY adopted. Often people are treated in spite of aesthetics and the intervention does not make sense strategically. It is important to know that the donor area is limited. This means that we have to manage this stock sparingly and avoid any type of waste.
It is necessary to anticipate hair loss and not to act in rapid succession, and thereby delaying the baldness.
An aesthetic result must remain aesthetic over the years.
Each phase in a hair transplant has to be considered as being the last one: the result obtained must be self-sufficient.
All these parameters are studied prior to the procedure as they determine each patient’s specific case.
