40yo patient who had a transplant using plugs when he first started to bald. The original hair has now fallen off therefore highlighting the grafts in the most ungracious manner. Those were not taken off but were instead “overwhelmed” by new grafts all over the same area. The vertex area was treated later on.
Correction
40yo patient who was operated in Spain. Not enough grafts and those that were put in were too big. "Pluggy" look. The oldest grafts were punched out and the hair saved. A new transplant of 2575 grafts has allowed to cover the whole balding area.
Correction
29yo patient who had a transplant made in Tunisia. The grafts were too thick on the hairline. The line was too straight and the hair seemed to tilt toward the right. The scar therefore had to be thickened. The grafts were left in place but a new transplant of 1127 grafts for 1720 hairs was woven into the old one. The new grafts are much thinner and are oriented appropriately. To be continued …
